We have developed a set of standard questionnaires that can be used in disaster settings. There are questionnaires for communities, households and individuals. The questions have been found useful in disaster and crisis settings.
The standard questionnaire has sections on:
- Survey administration
- Housing
- Damage and loss
- Reconstruction
- Assistance received
- Expectations for help
- Household economy
- Social capital and trust
- Demographic characteristics of households members
- Work
- Health of household members
The current version is designed mostly in relation to earthquakes, specific questionnaires for other types of disasters will follow.
