POPNATools does not store much information about you

In general we try to avoid storing information about visitors to the POPNAtools site. Some tracking is difficult to avoid. For example, we track the reply to the questions of tracking, to avoid that you receive the question every time you log in.
We also track where people are logging in from (but not their identity), in order to understand the geographic spread of the interest for the toolbox. Similarly we track downloads of the tools.
At present we do not use this information for anything but generating statistics. In the future we may reach out to downloaders in order to learn about their experiences with the tools. We promise we will not distribute any individualized information to third parties.
